Vedder River Mommy & Me
There is something so special about photographing motherhood in the middle of the everyday. Not perfectly posed, not overly planned, just the little moments that show the connection between a mother and her child.
This mother-daughter session at the Vedder River in Chilliwack was relaxed, playful, and full of the kind of in-between moments I love most. We wandered, cuddled, laughed, explored, and let the session unfold naturally. Instead of forcing every photo to be still and perfectly posed, we made space for movement, personality, and real connection.
Family photography does not have to feel stiff or stressful. Some of the most meaningful images come from simple moments: holding hands, brushing hair out of a child’s face, walking together, sitting close, laughing at something small, or letting your child be exactly who they are.
