Cake smash sessions are a fun way to celebrate your little one’s birthday while capturing all the personality, excitement, and mess that come with this special milestone. Every session takes place in your home, allowing your child to stay in a familiar environment where they feel comfortable while keeping the experience simple and stress-free for you.

We’ll begin with a few birthday portraits before bringing out the cake, giving us a chance to capture their smiles, little details, and personality while everything is still clean. Then it’s time for the cake smash, where your little one can explore, taste, play, and make as much mess as they would like. Some children dive straight in, while others take a little time to warm up, and the session is kept flexible and child-led either way.

A basic backdrop, balloons, and a few choices of banners and poofs are included to create a sweet, polished setup without making it feel overly styled. Add on cake smash outfits are available for and are yours to keep after the session. I take care of setting everything up before the session and cleaning the area afterward, so you can focus on enjoying the experience instead of worrying about the mess.

For Smash & Splash sessions, the final 10 minutes are reserved for a small tub session. It’s a playful way to finish the session, capture a few more joyful moments, and help clean off some of the cake before we wrap up.
